CARDIFF DAY TRIP

Sunday 8th September 2024

A day trip to Cardiff to do a spot of shopping, visit friends/ relations or attraction.

While some of the group are visiting the Mint, a chance for others to visit Cardiff, for some retail therapy St. Davids Shopping Centre with a John Lewis, eateries, M&S etc.  

For those that don't want retail therapy there is of course the Castle (fee paying) & Cardiff Museum which is free to enter.

New is scale the stadium, take in a bird’s eye view of the pitch and 75,000-seater stadium below before scaling the Stadium’s mast and whooshing through the air on THE ZIP WIRE across the roof canopy. Finally descend back to earth via THE DROP, I won't be doing this before you ask.  This has to be booked in advance.  Venture a little further down to Cardiff Bay and Mermaid Quay.  There is a boat service from the centre or regular bus services  (they don't accept bus passes) or about 30 min walk. 

Coach departs Forde Park 08.45 (tbc) followed by pick ups, Railway Station park side, B&Q Kingsteignton Road, Next Greenhill Kingsteignton & Exeter Services.
