MOUNTBATTEN FESTIVAL OF MUSIC BY HM ROYAL MARINES @ ROYAL ALBERT HALL +
BATTLE OF BRITAIN BUNKER + HARROW SCHOOL

The Mountbatten Festival of Music features the Massed Bands of His Majesty’s Royal Marines.
These concerts display the outstanding versatility of some of the world’s finest military musicians and are given the “West End” treatment with spectacular lighting effects and are always a sell out.
The Festival sees the Royal Marines showcase their incredible musicianship and pageantry and features a wide range of musical styles, including music from the big screen and superb solo items, as well as the traditional marches and overtures that have proved such a hit with audiences over the years.
Proceeds go to The Royal Marines Charity and CLIC Sargent.
Friday
Morning departure with comfort stops enroute to our hotel and early dinner before making our way into London and Royal Albert Hall for evening concert. All seats are downstairs in the Stalls
Saturday
After breakfast we travel to Uxbridge & Battle of Britain
Bunker. Bunker Tours are 60 minutes in length and involve a 45-minute talk in the Operations Room, it takes you down 76 steps to see the original 1940s Bunker and new soundscape, followed by a visit to the exhibition, as this is a listed building there are no lifts available. Alternatively, you can visit the exhibition only, which currently includes a free virtual video tour of the Bunker, the Polish Air Force gallery and Dieppe exhibition. There is a cafe on site. Afterwards we are off to Harrow School one of the oldest schools in the UK, founded in 1572 under a royal charter from Queen Elizabeth I for a guided tour, visiting some of the most spectacular and historic rooms and buildings including the Fourth Form Room, Speech Room, Chapel and War Memorial Building.
